Para examinar la complejidad y el potencial pol\u00edtico de las identidades transnacionales y translocales, se partir\u00e1 de un estudio de caso: la realidad de los ind\u00edgenas mames de Chiapas, un pueblo maya del sureste de M\u00e9xico. El pueblo mam ha experimentado distintos procesos migratorios y cruces de fronteras en b\u00fasqueda de alternativas de vida.
